Plenty of support for local artists, the other rooms frequently have unique installations etc, both the loft and main hall semi recently redesigned by local BK people who work on/design other spots in that neighborhood. I'll disagree with some of the other posters here saying its poorly designed or only focused on being a cash grab. I could totally see Hayden James bringing that kind of crowd, no offense. The roof is also great in the summer, Soul Summit on the roof was sweet and a fun crowd.Įlsewhere unfortunately has absorbed a lot of the Output refugees, though, so there is a slightly more generic clubber vibe from the crowd depending on the night. Bonobo recently had a sold out room moving nicely all night. For example, I'm psyched for the Actress/Lauren Flax/Heidi Sabretooth show coming up. Vibe is entirely based on the act playing, can be hit or miss. But in all honestly recommend following your fav local DJs on insta because that’s where I find most of the fun 🦋🦋🦋 Basement in Ridgewood is also a solid spot but that’s usually for the harder stuff (depending on the night as well).

Good Room can be good but it’s honestly so over priced I stopped going their prices for everything make NO SENSE ANYMORE. Mood Ring is a queer bar that has a venue in the back but it can get really fucking packed it’s annoying but music is good. I would say it’s one of the last remaining places where it’s always solid no matter what and the crowd is sincere and honest with supporting the culture. I tend to lean to Nowadays because it’s cute or honestly Bossa which is always a good time. you can go by following the DJs you most like which is helpful because sometimes they’ll post underground venues that they’re playing at.
It depends on the vibe you want honestly.
